Experience 1 : un squelette humain
Lisa Temple-Cox Artist’s profile…
March 08 - 09 / 15 - 16 / 22 - 23 (Saturday & Sunday only)
11am - 4pm

This exhibition is the bare bones of a new creative process, and the work contained within will be akin to a series of experiments in different languages and media.
I am exploring my sense of rootlessness and displacement, as I attempt to create work with integrity and a personal resonance - without ever giving away anything too personal. In essence, this is a body of works in progress as I circle the real issues behind my recent creative impulses.
The title is taken from an old science book I found in France during a residency at the Chateau de Sacy in 2005. This residency had a profound effect on me, and how I feel about much of my work since then references this experience – and in French, ‘expérience’ also means ‘experiment’.
My exhibition will be a show of work made during the past year, and comprises paintings, box assemblages, collages, combines and fascinators.
Private view Friday March 07 all welcome.
