Cuckoo Farm Print Workshop
The Cuckoo Farm Print Workshop exists to provide printing facilities for creative print makers and beginners alike. The workshop is run as a small cooperative and membership is available as a full or associate member.
The Workshop is equipped with a Rochat etching press, bed size 26"x48", a Colombia Press for relief printing such as lino or woodblock a proofing press and one large pinch press. There is a separate room with fume cabinets and an air-extractor for etching plates. Basic materials are available on site and are paid for at cost. Many artists obtain their own specialist papers. Some tools are also available.
New members are expected to complete a two day induction process led by an existing member. Various courses such as etching, collography, relief and monoprinting are arranged on an ad hoc basis and specialist tuition is available.
