My work focuses on the everyday, the often overlooked elements that contribute to a sense of place. Traces, absence and presence, edges and junctures provide starting points for paintings, which themselves, although abstract, evoke particular moments . I paint in both oils and acrylics and usually work in series.
I am currently undertaking an MA in Fine Art at Norwich University College of the Arts and I also work as a freelance artist/facilitator, running art workshops in a range of media with all ages and abilities.
