Lisa Temple-Cox

Statement

  • Lisa is a painter and assemblage artist. Since leaving college in 1990 she has been largely self-employed as a community and public artist, often working with young people or adults with learning difficulties. In 2005 she was selected as artist in residence at the Chateau de Sacy in Picardie, France, and this has led to a new body of installation and assemblage work. Lisa is currently one of three lead artists working on 'Creative Conveniences', a project designed to incorporate public art into three toilets in the Colchester area, and is making work for two exhibitions later this year.
