• 1981 - 88 St. John Payne School (Chelmsford)
• 1988 - 89 Foundation Course at Colchester Institute
• 1989 - 92 BA (Hons) Crafts combined studies at Crewe and Alsager College of H.E.

• 1993 - to date Set up workshop producing ceramic designs.
• 1993 Start work at Colchester Institute. Part time Technician Art & Design
• 1994 - to date Freelance work model & prop making for TV & film industry.
• 2001 Senior Technician Colchester Institute (team of 8)
• 2002 Set up Base2 in partnership with Jayne Knowles.
