Pam has been a ceramicist since 1985, with her pottery now being situated at Cuckoo Farm since September 2006.
Her work is highly stylised, every piece individually constructed in stoneware, porcelain, or a mixture of both. Marks are made on the surface, incised and impressed into the clay. Colour is included at all stages, with the use of oxides, slips, glazes (dolomite and barium) and on-glaze luster's
Besides one off exhibition pieces Pam also makes a range of porcelain jewellery, wall hangings, jugs, small cups/saucers and display plates.
During the last 20 years her work has been included in many exhibition venues throughout Great Britain, such as Liberty’s, London: Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh: Cecelia Coleman Gallery, St. Johns Wood: The Crypt-St Paul’s, the Barbican, and shown in France, Germany and the USA, with a large collection of ‘coffee and tea sets’ sent to Saudi Arabia.
She is a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, and was on council for many years, a member of Suffolk Crafts Society, a Selected member and past secretaryof Anglian Potters, and ran Gallery Schomberg in Colchester for 15 years.
