STATEMENT:
I am a painter and I love to experiment with all things landscape. My work is both figurative and abstract, it reflects my appreciation, recognition and interest of landscape's traditional roots, whilst revealing the side of me that loves to embrace the contemporary.
I have grown up in Essex and am fiercly proud of such a wonderful but much maligned county. Recently my work has become dominated by the local countryside and views. I hope to capture the beautiful, serene and dramatic elements of Essex, but also want to explore the vision of a glamourous and vibrant county that is more familiar to those who don't really know it.
