STATEMENT:
Over the years several words have commonly been linked with my work; mesmerising, repitious, rhythmic, ephemeral and ambigious, the work is not only all these but is like so many other artist it is an extension of who I am. A need for some sort of escape, to create new landscapes.
Having painters roots this can often interacts with the way I approach my video pieces, I try to keep the editing phase as organic as possible. With doing this I believe I'm able to adapt video to create texture and hopefully understand a way to imprint the emotional soul, so apparent within so many painters.
