My subject matter is varied but I seem to be concentrating on making the simple complicated and the complicated simple, printing being an ideal medium for this. I also try to throw in some humour and surrealism.I have been concentrating on jigsaw woodcuts made with a scroll saw. I have exhibited in Colchester, at Cuckoo farm, in the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Maldon Art trail, at Braintree and the Mall gallery 2012 BITE exhibition.

I chose a science career but eventually found my way back to the studio trying out various media. Printmaking became increasingly attractive and I joined Cuckoo Farm Print workshop in 2007 trying out experimental printmaking techniques. In 2012 I joined Gainsborough House print workshop to use their lithography facilities.
My subject matter is varied but I seem to be concentrating on making the simple complicated and the complicated simple, printing being an ideal medium for this. I also try to throw in some humour. I have been concentrating on jigsaw woodcuts made with a scroll saw. I use water based inks and Japanese papers which can produce a light ethereal image. I print small runs of up to 20. Recently I have been experimenting with aluminium foil “kitchen” lithography and pochoir using thin plastic. Please email if interested in any print.

I tutor small classes in the main printing techniques.
