Then an Associate Membership could be just for you.
Access to resources
These include project and work spaces, use of equipment and grounds at a discounted rate.
Access to our online community forum enabling you to tap into the valuable knowledge shared by our varied community of creative members.
Join the studio waiting list
Associate Artists are welcome to join the waiting list for a studio at any time.
As your Associate application is conducted in the same way as for a full Tenant (Studio Holder) there will be no need for your application to be reassessed, unless you have substantially developed or changed your creative practice since joining.
Opportunities
Participation in Cuckoo Farm Studios’ own events* and exhibitions. Hear about and participate on members-led events and exhibitions in or away from CFS.
In effect, you will get many of the benefits of being a Tenant (Studio Holder) without having a studio space.
*As part of your membership you have the opportunity to participate in the Cuckoo Farm Studios Open Studios weekend in September.
Joining as an Artist Associate is by selection and is assessed in the same way as a full Tenant (Studio Holder). Membership runs from 1st September to 31st August at a cost of £50 per year. We can accommodate a maximum of 20 Associate members per year due to limited space at Open Studios.
We also encourage and support Student Artists via our Student Associate Scheme at a reduced rate of £25 per year.
Past Studio Holders are also eligible for Associate Artist membership and in some instances will be invited or nominated by the CFS Committee.
(Our Associate Membership scheme is currently closed to new applicants as we have reached the number we can accommodate in 2023/24. If you are interested to join us please send your completed the form during our open window between 1st June and 31st July 2024.)
