My subject matter is varied but I seam to be concentrating on making the simple complicated and the complicated simple, painting being an ideal medium for this.

PRINTER + ARTIST

My multi-disciplinary art practice is divided between printing and painting. I’m currently exploring the print processes of etching and aquatint.

PAINTER + ETCHING PRINTER

CHAIR

I have gravitated back to painting and more recently took up etching. I find etching intriguing in its use of heat and acid and hope to extend my skills to photo-etching and etching using photo-copies.

ART TEACHER + ARTIST + PRINTMAKER

I enjoy creating art in various media including drawing, printmaking (i.e. etching, aquatint, silkscreen, textile printing, linocut, woodcut), painting, mixed-media, ceramics, pottery, glass, felting, photography, video-based art, installations, interdisciplinary collaborative art projects, performance art, etc.

MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ARTIST

I love drawing from organic natural forms which I then manipulate into collagraphs or develop into lino, dry point, silk screen and photo silk screen printing.

PRINTMAKER + LITHOGRAPHER

My main work is lino prints, gelli printing & kitchen lithography. I especially like printing skulls, but to become more commercial have branched out into printing dogs, horses etc.

My inspiration usually starts with the natural world. I try to capture a sense rather than replicate. My plates are created using very basic materials, collaging, cutting, adding, subtracting.
