STUART BOWDITCH  sound installation

The latest in his series of works called Resonants (2013 - ongoing) exploring the resonant qualities of objects. Through the use of repurposed electronics, the inanimate object comes alive, turning into an instrument by playing back the sound of itself.

JUDD DRUCE  sound/video

Geometric_shapes an adapted version of his degree show ‘Interconnections Between A/V Technologies’ using evolving camera-screen feedback loops with contact microphones. Druce is a CFS Graduate Associate. He graduated from UCC in 2022 in Fine Art.

LUCY GAYLER  performance/drawing/video

Gayler’s performance Exploring the space around is part of her on-going use of drawing to investigate the spatial boundaries of the body and the therapeutic process of body mapping.

Gayler is the CFS/CAS Graduate Award Holder for 2021/22.

IRIS GUNNARSDOTTIR  video

Gunnarsdottir’s video installation The Interviews (2019 re-presented) informs the audience of eight people’s experiences and understanding of gender roles through interviews. These are communicated through her mimicking and miming their words and body language.

PETER JONES  video

Stacks (2011, re-presented) is one of a series by Jones using video to explore, expose and record the decline of the ceramics industry in Stoke-on-Trent.

Meigh-Andrews first experimented with video in Montreal in 1973 and began exhibiting his work internationally in the late 1970s. He is a video artist, writer and curator. He has written extensively on the history and context of artists’ video.
